While browsing our collection you may see the letter R precede a year, eg. R1976. This refers to a theatrical re-release of a film. Studios and distributors often re-release popular movies into theaters—Casablanca, for example, has been released in theaters over a dozen times since it's first release in 1942. Re-release posters are not reproductions. Some re-release posters are more sought after than original posters for their unique artwork or design—the R1966 U.S. one sheet for North by Northwest, for example.
Some of our listings have both a size and actual dimensions. Movie posters come by standard size by country but can vary by up to a few inches.
