William Dieterle's Oscar-winning biographical film about French author Emile Zola starring Paul Muni. This ultra rare 1948 Polish poster by Henryk Tomaszewski, the \"godfather\" of Polish poster design, was made prior to the creation of the Centrala Wynajmu Filmow (Polish film leasing office). Pre-CWF paper is very scarce making this poster particularly sought-after. The influence of Toulouse-Lautrec is clearly evident in Tomaszewski's chosen style.
